    • Mixpanel (for analytics to improve the service): IP address, approximate location from IP, browser type/version, operating system, time zone, and usage patterns.
    • Sentry (for error and crash reporting): IP address, browser type/version, operating system, device details, and error information.

This data is collected directly from you (e.g., during signup or posting) or automatically as you use the web app.

We do not collect sensitive information, payment details, or precise location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account, and provide access to the platform’s features (including displaying and sharing your posts and images).
  • Communicate with you, such as sending account-related notifications (e.g., password resets).
  • Analyse usage patterns and fix errors to improve the performance, security, and user experience of RentGalah (using tools like Mixpanel and Sentry).
  • Comply with legal obligations or protect our rights (where necessary).

We do not use your information for marketing purposes or targeted advertising at this time.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information with trusted service providers to help operate and improve RentGalah, including:

  • Mixpanel — for usage analytics.
  • Sentry — for error and crash reporting.

These providers are contractually required to use your information only for the services they provide to us and to protect it appropriately. Some of these providers (Mixpanel and Sentry) are based in the United States and Europe, so your information may be transferred and processed overseas.
